O site ArchDaily elegeu, juntamente com os seus leitores, os edifícios do ano de 2011. Entre os 70 candidatos, estavam nomeados 14 projectos de ateliers portugueses em oito categorias. Apenas três venceram, a MIMA House, a Chapel Tree of Life e a Fraunhofer Haeadquarters nas categorias de Habitação, Edifício Religioso e Interiores, respectivamente.

A ultima edição desta votação premiou três projectos portugueses: edifício Vodafone, no Porto (Edifício Institucional), a Closet House, em Matosinhos (Interiores) e o bar temporário da Faculdade de Arquitectura do Porto (Hotéis e Restaurantes).

Esperemos que o ano de 2012 traga mais bons projectos e muitos mais vencedores!

The site Archdaily elected, together with their readers, the buildings of the year 2011. Among the 70 candidates, 14 projects of portuguese studios were nominated in eight categories. Only three won, the MIMA House, the Tree of Life Chapel and Fraunhofer Haeadquarters in the categories of Housing, Religious Building and Interiors respectively.

The latest issue of voting awarded three Portuguese projects: Vodafone building in Oporto (Institutional Building), the Closet House, in Matosinhos (Interior) and the temporarily bar at the Faculty of Architecture of Porto (Hotels and Restaurants).

Hopefully the year 2012 bring more good projects and many more winners!
